  • Q: How does it work?

    Essentially you can think of us as your very own personal assistants for your car. So if your car breaks down in the future, you'll be able to contact us so our mechanics can help diagnose and help you fix your car(using clear step by step instructions written in plain English that anyone can follow). We'll also tell you how you can save some money on parts.

    But that's not all, we are here to answer all your car related questions. Whether it's finding a good set of all season tires for your truck or tracking down the color code for your black Honda Accord, we'll be here to help you.
  • Q: Can you help me with a new car?
    A: Of course, although from our experience, new car owners tend to mostly use the personal assistant part of the service.
  • Q: My car is older than 1996, can you still help?
    A: Chances are that yes, we can. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that we'll be able to give you the full detailed instructions that we are known for. Not unless, you have something like a Honda Civic or an Accord.
  • Q: Do you cover non-U.S. market cars?
    A: Yes, besides the U.S. market, we also cover the United Kingdom, Canadian and Australian car markets.
  • Q: How much does it cost?
    A: Our service costs $20/mo, but in order to prevent someone from waiting till the last moment to get it, you won't be able to use it during the activation period(think of it as car insurance....you can't get full coverage after you crash the car). If you need help right away, you can use our Emergency service for $80.
  • Q: The $80 emergency fee is that only for car repairs, or can I ask questions too?
    A: You can ask questions, but that seems like a colossal waste of money to ask a single question. The emergency option is just that, for emergencies. For those who want their cars fixed now, and can't afford to wait 30 days. But if you have some car question which you value at $80, we'll be glad to take your money.
  • Q: How simple are the instructions?
    A: The instrucitons are intentionally clear and written in plain English. Our goal is to make our service useful to everyone...not just the gearheads.
  • Q: I'm a gearhead, why do I need your service?
    A: Simple, convenience. Sure, you might figure out the solution eventually on your own, but why do you want to waste your whole day figuring out the problem and trying to find a solution that actually works...when you can have someone who actually works on your car for a living do it for you?

    And there is a lot more to our service than just diagnostics/solution help. Let's say you want to get a new aftermarket exhaust for your E46 BMW M3. Sure you can waste your time trying to find all the sound clips/performance figures yourself, or you can have us do all the research for you.
